Food Bank
Our church is the distribution site for the Worthington area for Armstrong County Community Action Food Bank. As an on-going mission project for the church, we are collecting canned goods, dry boxed goods, and monetary donations to help supplement the Food Bank. If you are interested in donating, the collection box is located in the Narthex. If you would like to give a monetary donation, please make out the check to Worthington Presbyterian Church and on the memo line please write Food Bank. We also need medium-sized boxes which can also be placed by the coat racks in the Narthex. If you are interested in helping with the food distribution, please stop in on the last Tuesday of the month from 7 - 11am to unload the trucks, sort the food, and then box up the food to be distributed to the clients’ cars as they drive up to the front of the church. If you can’t stay the whole time, that’s no problem. It’s a great time to get to know your church family and at the same time, help out the community.

Youth Group Project
Last Sunday, junior and senior high youth groups joined together for a field trip to WheekCare Guinea Pig Rescue. At the rescue they learned about the pigs: how to care for them, different types of them, what they eat and more! The kiddos got a chance to pet and snuggle some piggies as well. To help the rescue, the youth groups are hosting a collection. If you’d like to help, we are looking for these items: paper Dixie cups toilet paper rolls white paper bags We are also collecting change to help change the lives of these tiny, lovable animals. A jar is located in the narthex for your monetary donations. We thank you for your help with this project!
