Missions Supported by WPC

Global Missions

B and P are missionaries serving in a community of Muslim immigrants in France.  In a recent communication, B and P expressed their thanks for our monthly gifts of support. Keep praying with us for the Lord to open minds and hearts to understand and accept the truth of the Gospel.

 Wycliffe Bible Translators
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word to us — something that everyone should be able to understand in a language and form that clearly speaks to their hearts. But approximately 2,000 languages* around the world are still waiting for a translation project to begin.

                                                                              National Mission

B J Grimmett of Circle G Ministry preaches year-round

at revivals, special services, youth rallies, and conferences, as well as at equine evangelism events.  BJ and Maryanne dream of ministry on two fronts: in the church as well as outside its walls.  “Just as we want to strengthen and encourage believers, we want to reach those folks who would never set foot in a church but would be willing to come out for a training clinic, expo, trail ride, horse show, or rodeo.  There are still so many people yet to be reached, and we want to do our part.”

 Regional Mission
Alycia Hodil, Coalition for Christian Outreach, is working with students at IUP Northpointe.  The vision of CCO is to see a generation of college students transformed by the power of Jesus Christ and His Gospel, in partnership with the local church, reaching the world for the glory of God.

 Local Mission
Blessings Foster Care Ministry provides critical services including: new book bags and school supplies, new toys and gifts for yearly Christmas initiative, and Respite Nites.  Their Foster Closet provides brand new clothes, shoes and necessities to children when they enter foster care.

WPC facilitates the distribution of food provided by Community Action and other essentials provided by the churches in the Worthington Ministerium.  We also provide grocery gift cards at Easter and Christmas.  Distribution is usually the last Tuesday of the month and your help is always welcomed!

We recently completed a drive to collect items needed to support homeless clients served by the Armstrong County Community Action Housing Department.  Toiletries, hats, socks, towels, blankets and pillows were delivered to the Agency the end of September.  Thanks to all who donated items for this cause.
